I used to just go to Gamespot but then, Jeff Gerstmann got fired. And I was upset. Because that guy was the reason I would go to that site. The guy is entertaining and he actually knows video games. I told myself, "bummer, but I'm gonna keep visiting the site". Then I noticed I wasn't listening to The Hotspot anymore, which is their podcast. Then I wasn't watching On the Spot anymore. Because they weren't the same. I kept close watch to the guy and found out he had a blog. So I checked it out. Then Ryan Davis left Gamespot. Then Alex Navarro. By then, I wasn't going to Gamespot anymore. I started listening to the Arrow Pointing Down Podcast and then, after lots of hints, giantbomb.com was born.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://media.giantbomb.com/logo.gif"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px;" src="http://media.giantbomb.com/logo.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />Giantbomb.com is the lovechild of Jeff Gerstmann and Ryan Davis. I watched a clip about it on the XPlay site. I should point out that I don't watch G4. I must say that to me, the channel went to crap after all the firings. Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb rock though. Anyways, back to the topic. I, personally, believe this site is all we will need. Jeff has said the site officially launches this summer. Or should I say explode. I am very excited and I was only waiting for this to arrive. I thought it would eventually happen. Now that it has, all I can do is wait and see how it turns out. This site is it. It's the future of gaming websites. It's video game news 2.0. For all of those who don't know, people always associate me with things that have to do with the mafia. Be it The Godfather or Goodfellas. They do it for reasons I can not specify. Bt anyways I just got Mafia. I had been hearin about the game for awhile and I thought it was time for me to finally experience it. Mafia is a game that was released back in 2002. For those who have never seen it in action The Godfather game resembles it very much. Mafia is open world with many driving sequences. But the story itself will drive you to play along with it. I think it's time for me to go play. This next month, I should say thirty days, will be stories of legend. My parents are gone for the next month in El Salvador, look it up. They are going there to have a wedding ceremony. Even though they are already married, they have been for seven years, they weren't able to do the big wedding thing. Now they are doing it. I'm only going for a weekend in February but that's it. I swear. I told them I don't want to live another year down there like I have before. I have gained knowledge from living in El Salvador, but I now am around people I can stand. I've learned enough about how life is taken for granted. I appreciate everything possible. But yeah, I will make sure I enjoy myself these next couple of weeks. I will make sure others do as well. As for this being my first post, I hope this whole blog thing goes well. I'm sick of myspace but yeah.
